Dr. Denise Melton
Dr. Denise Melton was born and raised in Georgia—with brief adventures in California and Australia—Dr. Denise Melton has deep roots in the South. She began her professional journey with a degree in computer engineering from Georgia Tech and a role at Hewlett Packard before discovering her true calling in veterinary medicine.
Dr. Melton earned her DVM from the University of Georgia in 2008. She started her veterinary career in emergency medicine before transitioning to general practice and ultimately opening Tamberly Veterinary Hospital.
She’s especially passionate about fear-free care and partnering with pet owners to help their animals thrive at every life stage—particularly our beloved senior companions who benefit from extra-special attention.
